1st semester 2nd yr Portfolio!!

These are just a few of my portfolio shots from the first semester of my second year here at RCC!! My favorite is the one of the glass. I used a black light to light the glass and thought the effect on it was cool.

Snow Day!!

These are just a few of the snow that fell back in Jan. 09. My little boy Austin loved it, it was his first real snow he got to play in. He had a blast, my grandparents are like little kids again when it comes to snow as well. These are not the best of photos but they were just a few snapshots that I was able to grab while out playing in snow.

Macro Fun!

Here are a few from this weeks Macro shoot. The first two are of a wasp that I found dried out in my brothers room, boys are so gross, clean your room once in a while please!! The other is of a rose pedal that had just fallen off of the rose.

My Baby Boy!!!!

Here are some pictures that I took of my little boy one day when we were playing around in the studio. He is such a little model, I love it. He is sssooo cute. These are my favorites from the shoot that day.

Macro Photography 1st attempt

Here are a few images i shot using a Nikon D200 with a 60mm AF Micro Nikkor lens for my macro class. The first one is of my husband Larry's eye, I like it because it shows the eyelashes coming out of the skin, it's amazing. The second one is just of pages in a book, it looked kinda cool laying there so i had to take it. The third image is of my husband Larry's tongue, I know it looks gross at first but it's cool because you can actually see all the taste buds on his tongue. The last image is of the buttons on my cell phone. It's kind of a technical geeky thing but it's neat to me because you never know what you may have to take a picture of if you went into crime scene photography. These are just a few of my beginning shots, let me know what you think about them.

Baby Brayden...so handsome!

Here are a few photos I took in the studio of my new baby cousin Brayden. He is 2 months old in these pictures. He was fussy with us to begin with, but we kept working with him and ended up with what I think are some really good photos. This little boy is so handsome!!

My Dear Child

These are some photos of my 2 yr old son Austin. He loves to be in front of the camera but then he has to see them. I took him down to this old damn below our house and he had a blast. He loves to throw rocks into the water, and he loves to pose for me when I ask him too. As you tell in a few of the photos he was having some fun playing with me. I couldn't ask for a better little boy, he is such a sweet heart (when he wants to be).
